At Home Swim Lessons

back-to-top

Non-Swimming Children:

  • 30 minutes in water

  • Focus on mental and physical barriers

  • Parents must be in water with a non-swimming child due to Covid-19 distancing

Private or semi-private swim lessons held at your home* (or at a membership pool) are a great way to fast-track you or your child's swimming ability. Learn to swim or work on techniques in the comfort of your own pool. Instructors will create a custom swim lesson plan**, for new swimmers, based on the American Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. If there is more than one swimmer at a home, capable swimmers will be instructed  to focus on technique while non-swimmers will focus on safety and water competency.

** IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING AT HOME SWIM LESSONS

After registering for the lessons, you will be contacted to schedule a time to meet.

Please note that each level of swimming that is taught teaches skills that take time to master. It is reasonable to expect swimmers to advance approximately one level per year, not per session. We take pride in the quality of our lessons, and it is important to us that swimmers master each level before advancing. If you are uncertain of the level your swimmer is in, we will be happy to test them in the first class of the session and place them appropriately.
